Channel Removal and Access Termination

Whatsapp Channel Removal

Delete your Number from your WhatsApp Business Account on your phone. Only business administrators can delete phone numbers from WhatsApp Business Accounts. Business managers need to:

  1. Go to your Business Settings page.
  2. Go to Settings > Business Settings > WhatsApp Accounts > WhatsApp Manager > Phone Numbers.
  3. Find the phone number you want to delete from WhatsApp Manager. Click the trash can icon under Delete.

If the phone number was previously "Connected", you may be asked to provide the password for your Facebook account linked to WABA. Phone numbers deleted from one WABA cannot be reused for another account. Phone number deletions require that the business has not sent a paid message for the phone number within 30 days. If the business has sent paid messages in the last 30 days, you will be redirected to the Insights page showing the date of the last paid message. You can delete the phone number 30 days after this date.

Access Termination

If your account has a service provider that provides the same type of service that has been granted access before, you may experience problems connecting or after connecting your channels. That's why you should check the access permissions before connecting your channels.

You can follow the steps below to remove all access permissions of the service provider that you previously received service from.

  1. Go to Facebook Business Manager > Business Settings > Users > Partners.
  2. Select the service provider you want to remove
  3. Click the Remove button at the top right of the screen.
  4. Click the Remove Partner button to complete the process.

If you remove a service provider from partners, the ad accounts you've assigned or shared with them won't have access to work on Pages, audiences or other assets.
